International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia 2013

Happy HAHAT Day!

Today is the international day against homophobia and transphobia. Huffington Post did an article on the even here. Many LGBT people face discrimination because of their sexual orientation and even worse, they can be the victims of violent crimes.

Can’t well just get along? Apparently it’s still hard for humans, even after hundreds of thousands of years of evolution…

There is a Blog Hop celebrating today that lasts through the 27th. For participating bloggers and authors click here.

I found out about the hop too late to participate, but I would still love to honor the day by giving away a copy of my FF romance, No Glass Between Them to (3) commentors from now through midnight on the 27th. So comment away!

FYI I’ve been blessed to many gays and lesbians in my lifetime and I support the GLBT-owned local businesses. I vote with my wallet and encourage you to do so as well.

Besides, I’ve found the food is almost always better! 🙂
